Meeting Information
DARA meets the fourth Saturday of each month (except for a combined Nov./Dec. meeting) at 9:30 at The Holiday Inn Select US-75 (North Central Expressway) and Campbell Road in Richardson, TX (map). A $5 door fee is charged for nonmembers.

| What To Expect |
- 9:30 am - Announcements (Grab a cup of coffee and settle in).
- 9:45 am - Talented speakers addressing topics on the industry and craft including published authors, editors, agents and experts in a variety of fields related to writing.
- 10:30 am - Break
- 10:45 am - Workshop continues
- 11:30 am - Business meeting...this is usually the nuts and bolts of DARA business, but also includes commemoration and encouragement for writing related accomplishments. (Where else in your life do people celebrate finishing a manuscript, querying an agent or receiving a rejection letter?)
Breaks offer a chance to network with fellow visitors and members. Many members meet after lunch at a nearby restaurant. Please stay and join us!

From US-75 (North Central Expressway) Southbound: Exit Campbell Road and go south on the service road (on the west side of the highway). The Holiday Inn is the large pink building just past the car dealership.
From US-75 (North Central Expressway) Northbound: Exit Campbell Road and go north on the service road. Turn left at the turnaround at Campbell Road to the southbound service road on the west side of the expressway. The Holiday Inn is the large pink building just past the car dealership.
